Students at Murdoch University who are either refugees or asylum seekers may be eligible for financial assistance for their education at either the undergraduate or graduate level, depending on the program in which they are enrolled. This assistance could help them complete their education at either the undergraduate or graduate level.
Eligibility
In order for the candidate to even be considered, they need to be able to satisfy each and every one of the conditions that are listed below: In order to be eligible for asylum in Australia, you must ensure that you satisfy all of the following requirements: You must meet all of the following criteria in order to be eligible for asylum in Australia: • You must be a person who is seeking asylum in Australia; • You must be in possession of a Temporary Protection Visa, Safe Haven Enterprise Visa, or another form of protection visa; • You must be a resident of Australia. It is imperative that every single candidate provides evidence that they are able to fulfill the requirements that are outlined in the following paragraphs: Because of the ability to: • Have had the intention to enroll and begin studies in the first semester of 2023; • Have been accepted into a degree program at Murdoch University, either at the undergraduate or graduate level
Benefits
We are going to pay for your entire education, one hundred percent of it, so don’t worry about that. Payments that are required to be made on an annual basis in order to continue receiving the subsistence allowance. The student will receive a total of $5,000 ($2,500 each semester) to put toward their education while they are enrolled in school, and they will have complete freedom to spend this money however they see fit. This money can be used for anything related to the student’s education. The Student Amenities Fee won’t be collected because there won’t be any students to pay it, thus there won’t be any money either. In addition, as part of the prize package, Murdoch will offer the winner with a portable computer in the form of a laptop.
Application
The Full and Proper Completion of the Official Application Form and Its Submission Send us an email with a copy of your protection visa, SHEV, or TPP if you have one of these documents or confirmation that you have applied for one. If you do not have one of these documents, send us an email confirming that you have applied for one. In the event that you do not possess any of these documents, kindly confirm to us by email that you have made an application to obtain one. Personal Proclamation (no more than 1 page, A4) Please detail both your educational and professional experience, whether it was obtained in an official setting (such as high school, college, etc.) or an informal one (voluntary employment, learning with volunteer organizations). What sort of job do you envision yourself doing in the years to come, and how does the choice you made regarding your major reflect those kinds of aspirations in terms of the kind of work you want to accomplish? Include in your response an explanation as to how the awarding of this scholarship might help you work toward the accomplishment of the objectives that you have established for yourself. Recommendation letters from the applicant’s prior educational institutions or from members of the community who are held in high esteem by the candidate are acceptable. It is a good idea to make assertions in your application that can be supported by facts and that will help your application stand out in the eyes of a reviewer. APPLY
